Homemade Salsa

Ingredients
  

  • 5 tomatoes cut into chunks
  • 1/2 red onion cut into chunks
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 lime, juice
  • 1/3 cup diced bell peppers I use a mix of colors
  • 1/2 bundle cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno seeds removed
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste optional, but adds more tomato flavor

Equipment

  • Food Processor

Method
 

  1. Throw all ingredients in a food processor & blend for about 30 seconds, or until ingredients are finely chopped.
  2. Season with salt & pepper to taste and add more tomato paste or lime juice, if needed, and blend.

Notes

  • As long as you have all the base ingredients, you can adjust the amounts to fit your taste preferences. Add more jalapenos, cilantro, lime, etc to taste
